Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Education : B.S Degree or above​

Experience : D365 Deployment for Manufacturing: 5 years

The Role:

This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you will lead Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations across manufacturing and supply chain environments.

 

You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver solutions that drive operational efficiency across production, planning, and inventory workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional design and implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Gather and translate business requirements into scalable D365 solutions
  • Configure modules across:
    • Manufacturing (BOMs, routings, production orders)  
    • Supply chain (inventory, warehousing, procurement)  
    • Planning (MRP / MPS)  
  • Drive workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design  
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and customizations
  • Support UAT, training, and go-live activities  
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on manufacturing best practices

Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in D365 deployments for manufacturing environments (production, shop floor, supply chain)  
  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Production processes (discrete manufacturing preferred)
    • Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, work centers 
    • MRP / production planning  
    • Inventory and warehouse management  
  • Experience leading ERP implementations or major system transformations
  • Ability to bridge business + technology
  • Strong client-facing communication skills 

Nice To Have

  • Experience in industries like:  
    • Industrial manufacturing  
    • Equipment / machinery  
  • Experience with D365 F&O implementations 
  • Exposure to integrations (Power Platform, ISVs, shop floor systems)  
  • Microsoft certifications (Business Central)

    Plan marketing to build brand awareness and demonstrate value to prospective clients.

    Role :

    • Identifying prospects; creating and identifying sales opportunities.
    • Develop and present a client value proposition.
    • Building and maintaining brand and reputation within designated markets.
    • Assist marketing with campaigns.
    • Effectively utilizing digital and traditional platforms for networking and interacting.

    Preferred Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience in selling software services/solutions
    • Presenting the value of software solutions to prospects & clients

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop client proposals.
    • Oversee marketing content and manage publications.
    • Learn new technologies in Enterprise software and Cybersecurity to develop a value proposition to clients.
    • Organize and self-manage work schedule.

    • Base salary + Commissions.
